10 years ago today: Remembering Steve Jobs make iPhone history

We all knew it was coming.

Reporters, analysts and industry insiders had been speculating about Apple making a phone for nearly a year by the time Steve Jobs walked onto the Macworld Expo stage that cold January morning in San Francisco.

"Thank you for coming," he said, wearing his trademark Levi's and black mock turtleneck. "We're going to make some history together today."

T-Mobile CEO, fortune teller, offers 8 predictions for 2017

T-Mobile's bombastic CEO, John Legere, brought out his crystal ball to offer some bold predictions for the wireless industry in 2017.

Speaking at the company's CES press conference in Las Vegas on Thursday, Legere rattled off eight possibilities for 2017. These predictions include everything from big cable companies entering and quickly exiting the wireless market to the unseating of three of the nation's four major wireless carrier CEOs.

The Furrion Prosthesis is the giant racing mech you've always wanted

It's no Mobile Suit Gundam, but Furrion's Prosthesis racing mech is one of the most ridiculously neat things we've seen at CES 2017.

It's the first mech in what its parent company hopes will become a racing series. It started life as an art project, as a machine that humans could use to walk around. But then the idea grew until it was positioned as a first-of-its-kind racing mech. And you have to admit, racing mechs sounds pretty great.
